FARGO, N.D. —Selling a machine just got easier for North Dakota soybean growers. The North Dakota Soybean Growers Association (NDSGA) and DPA Auctions have partnered and launched a member program that puts NDSGA members’ equipment in front of buyers nationwide at a discounted seller rate.
For over 50 years, DPA has been running equipment auctions and now does so exclusively online. Equipment sells as-is, where-is with no need to haul it to a sale yard. Auctions run every other week allowing members flexibility in timing when they want to sell. DPA handles everything from start to finish and has transportation partners to help with getting sold equipment to it’s final destination.
Members also get access to DPA’s proprietary real-time valuation platform, allowing complimentary equipment valuations — current numbers on tractors, combines, semis, planters, and grain carts, built on real auction industry results rather than a book value. Members can check what a machine is worth before they decide whether this is the year to move it.
“Our members join NDSGA because they believe in having a strong voice for agriculture, but membership is about more than policy work,” said Chris McDonald, NDSGA president and soybean farmer from Leonard. “We want to provide resources and partnerships that deliver value back to their operations. This partnership with DPA Auctions gives producers another tool to make informed decisions about their equipment and their businesses.”
“North Dakota farmers run complex operations and they need partners who can provide them value and superior customer service,” said Justin Scheel, Chief Marketing Officer at DPA Auctions. “They need a number they can trust and a straightforward way to sell when the time is right. This partnership puts both in front of NDSGA members without anyone having to chase it down.”
